Colm Flanagan has worked in education for more than 30 years and has a wife and two sons. His teaching career has been primarily in state education in inner-city London working in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the English capital. From 2001-2009 he was the Headmaster of St. Wilfrid’s Catholic School in York. In 2009 St. Wilfrid’s was adjudged by the UK’s regulatory body, OFSTED to be an ‘Outstanding’ school.
