During his recent position, Kwon has built strong sales and CE (Customer Engineering) organizations that are supporting an expanding customer base and broadened technologies portfolio, navigated the supply environment and enhanced product marketing and carrier relation capabilities within Qualcomm APAC.

In 2007, Kwon joined Qualcomm HQ in San Diego as a Regional Sales Manager for Korea and has played an important role in driving Qualcomm’s mobile, compute, infrastructure, RF Front-End, connectivity, IoT and automotive businesses at key accounts in the region for more than 15 years. Kwon joined Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (Korea) YH in 2012 and served as Senior Director of Mobile and IoT Sales (2012 ~ 2017), and Vice President of Sales (2017 ~ 2019). He then was appointed as President of Qualcomm Korea in 2019.

Prior to Qualcomm, Kwon amassed great expertise as an international business expert, holding leadership positions as Overseas Sales Manager for LG Electronics for the U.S. and Japan (1995 ~ 2000), Vice President and General Manager for the U.S. and Latin America at Yiso/Growell (2000 ~ 2005), and Handset Vendor Manager for Samsung, Sanyo/Kyocera, and Motorola at Sprint (2005 ~ 2007).
