AMCHAM and CBRE to Host Strategy Seminar to Support Korean Companies’ Expansion into the U.S.

September 19, 2025 - The American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AMCHAM; Chairman and CEO James Kim) announced today that it will co-host the “U.S. Site Selection Seminar” with CBRE Group’s Korea Desk North America (KDNA) on September 25 at the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul. This marks CBRE’s first large-scale seminar in Korea, underscoring its commitment to providing practical guidance for Korean companies seeking to enter or expand in the U.S. market.

With Korean companies accelerating investments in the United States, strategic site selection and real estate planning have become decisive factors for sustainable growth. The seminar will address key issues that companies must evaluate in their U.S. expansion journey, including location incentives, workforce planning, project and construction management, and supply chain strategies.

Drawing on global experience and proven success cases, CBRE | KDNA will provide practical, hands-on solutions applicable to companies of all sizes, ranging from SMEs to multinational corporations. In particular, the program will highlight strategies to navigate the rapidly changing U.S. regulatory and policy environment following the launch of the new administration, equipping participants with the tools to build more effective and resilient market entry strategies.

The seminar will open with welcoming remarks by AMCHAM Chairman & CEO James Kim, followed by Sofi Choi, Senior Vice President and Co-Lead KDNA of CBRE, and Steven K. Chon, Executive Vice President Co-Lead KDNA of CBRE. In addition, CBRE’s senior executives from multiple specialties will share insights on the latest U.S. commercial real estate trends, regional incentive programs, labor analytics, project/construction management, supply chain advisory, and site selection processes that companies can immediately put into practice.
