Yulchon
- Yulchon LLC is pleased to announce that Sung Uk PARK, a cross-border M&A
veteran, has joined the firm as a partner. With his distinguished track record
in cross-border M&A, private equity, and strategic joint ventures, Mr.
Park’s arrival significantly enhances the firm’s global transactional

Mr.
Park brings over 25 years of experience advising corporations, global private
equity funds, and financial institutions on a wide range of cross-border

Mr.
Park has played a key advisory role in some of Korea’s most high-profile
cross-border transactions. Notably, he advised on the $825 million purchase of
Double Down Interactive LLC by DoubleU Games Co. Ltd, the approximately KRW
1.166 trillion acquisition of a Canadian iron ore mine interest by a consortium
led by POSCO (now POSCO Holdings), the purchase of Korean waste management

addition reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering best-in-class advice to
clients navigating increasingly complex cross-border transactions.”
Mr.
Park began his legal career in New York and is admitted to the New York Bar. He
then gained extensive experience at global law firms, including A&O
Shearman, Schulte Roth & Zabel, and other leading Korean law firms.
“I
am thrilled to continue my cross-border transactional practice at Yulchon, a
firm that combines deep local insight with global reach,” said Mr. Park. “As

grounded solutions to our clients worldwide. I am excited to contribute to the
firm’s continued growth as a leading advisor for global investors and Korean
corporates alike.”

directories and corporate clients alike. Most recently, the firm was ranked
Band 1 for Corporate/M&A by Chambers Asia-Pacific and was named among the
most trusted law firms by global companies in Korea in the 2025 Law Firm

receiving the highest score from in-house counsel at foreign companies. With
the addition of Mr. Park and continued recognition from leading legal
directories, Yulchon reaffirms its position as a go-to firm for complex
