    Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming how students learn, how educators teach, and how institutions prepare graduates for the future of work. As industries integrate AI into every function, the demand for talent with data literacy, creativity, critical thinking, and ethical decision-making is rapidly growing.

    This session will explore how AI is reshaping education and workforce readiness -offering insights from both academia and industry.

    After the session, there will be a networking session with light refreshments.

    About the Speakers

    • [Presenter] Joshua K. Park, Campus Dean, George Mason University Korea
      Joshua K. Park has been appointed as the Campus Dean of Mason Korea, from Fall Semester, 2024. Prior to joining George Mason, he served as the Dean of SolBridge International School of Business, where he was instrumental in the school’s rapid growth and internationalization. Under his leadership, SolBridge attained AACSB re-accreditation, featured twice in the AACSB “Innovations that Inspire” spotlight, and became renowned for its diverse student body and innovative programs, drawing nearly 1,300 students from over 80 countries.

      Dean Park holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Pomona College. His academic journey is complemented by a diverse range of professional roles, including positions as a strategic advisor and visiting professor at prominent institutions both in Korea and abroad, such as Beijing Foreign Studies University and KEPCO International Nuclear Graduate School. His experience in public policy, business, negotiation, and debate is reflected in his numerous publications, books, and over 300 seminars and workshops worldwide.

    • [Presenter] Gareth Thomas, Director of Technology, Dulwich College Seoul
      Gareth Thomas is Director of Technology at Dulwich College Seoul, where he is leading the development of a future-focused curriculum that integrates artificial intelligence, data literacy, and emerging digital tools across all areas of learning. His work centres on preparing students and teachers to navigate, and shape, an AI-enabled world through creative, ethical, and inquiry-driven practice.

      Before joining Dulwich College Seoul, Gareth was a founding member of Wellington College Shanghai, serving as Whole School Head of Computer Science for six years. There he established the school’s first interdisciplinary programmes in coding, robotics, and computational thinking. Prior to his time in Asia, he spent seven years at Olchfa School, one of Wales’s leading state schools, where he built his expertise in curriculum innovation and educational technology leadership.

      A passionate advocate for AI in education, Gareth has introduced initiatives that bring generative AI, automation, and digital ethics into authentic classroom contexts. His current focus at Dulwich is on developing AI-enhanced learning frameworks that promote creativity, personalisation, and responsible technology use, ensuring that students are not just consumers of AI, but informed creators and critical thinkers.

      Gareth holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and both an MA and MEd, and previously worked in the technology sector as Lead Software Developer (Online Applications) for HBOS, one of the UK’s major banking institutions.

    • [Panelist] Kimberlie Fair, Assistant Professor, George Mason University Korea
      Kimberlie Fair, PhD is an Assistant Professor for the Costello College of Business at George Mason University and the Instructional Design Coordinator for George Mason Korea.

      Dr. Fair's activities within Mason Korea include working with students in multi-modal settings and supporting faculty in developing and implementing technology-based curriculum and instruction. In private practice, she has provided differentiated instruction in undergraduate mathematics and music performance and composition.

      Dr. Fair holds a PhD in Education with specializations in Mathematics Education Leadership and Learning Technologies Design Research. Her business professional experience includes management accounting and database administration.

    • [Panelist] Daniel Helliwell, Educational Technology Lead, Dulwich College Seoul
      Daniel Helliwell is the Educational Technology lead at Dulwich College Seoul, where he drives digital transformation and the strategic integration of emerging technologies in education. He is a leading voice in advancing AI readiness and developing AI literacy programs across the college, empowering staff and students to engage critically and creatively with artificial intelligence. Daniel is recognised for his forward-thinking approach to technology in education, connecting innovation, pedagogy, and digital strategy to create impactful and future-focused learning experiences.

    • [Panelist] Hyejung (Heather) Han, Korea Team Head, PERSOL Consulting Korea
      Heather has comprehensive understanding on Human Resources Management in Korea, from her extensive consulting experiences & from field business partnering. With 20+ professional experience, Heather has gained experiences in every part of OD/HR including Competency, Performance Management, People Development, Culture/Engagement & Leadership, and HR Analytics. The true strength of Heather lies on her experience in various industries, which involve IT, Financial Services, TELCO, Manufacturing, Construction, Fashion/Retail and Public Agencies, as she worked in both Korean and Global companies. With such rich and diverse experiences, Heather joined PERSOLKELLY Consulting Korea as a Korea Team Head, and provides general organization development (OD) services, such as business management, capability building, and HR knowledge insight sharing.

      Before moving into PERSOL Consulting Korea, Heather has worked for LG, Accenture Consulting, Hyundai Research Institute, and Aon Hewitt Consulting. Heather has served diverse roles of Organization & HR consulting, Group HR Advisory, and HRM & HRD Operation Management, where she had valuable experiences with leading Korean companies including Samsung, Hyundai, LG, SK, Doosan & AMOREPACIFIC.

      Heather’s systematic understanding on organization & employees from I/O psychology is rooted from her background of education. Heather graduated with Master's, Industrial & Organizational Psychology Major, following her undergraduate study in Psychology from Seoul National University. Her interest in the academic area continued even after the graduation, and is developed onto her professional interest in Employee Engagement, Culture & Leadership Assessment.

    • [Moderator] Paul Smith, Director of Business Administration, Dulwich College Seoul
      Paul brings over two decades of expertise in managing international education investment projects. At Dulwich College Seoul, he has played a pivotal role in overseeing all technology-related initiatives, including the evaluating and launching of AI projects.
