    About the Speakers
    • Sang Jin Han, Foreign Attorney, Kim & Chang

      Sang Jin Han is a foreign attorney at Kim & Chang's Mergers & Acquisition Practice. He focuses on corporate and private equity mergers and acquisitions andjoint ventures with an emphasis on cross­ border transactions.

      Mr. Han advised a number of strategic, private equity and sovereign wealth funds in inbound and outbound transactions and as sellers and buyers.

      Before joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Han worked in New York, Hong Kong and Seoul for more than 28 years at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, where he specialized in cross-border inbound and outbound mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures.
    • Jaechan Lee, Attorney, Kim & Chang

      Jaechan Lee is an attorney at Kim & Chang. He practices primarily in the areas of criminal defense litigation, employment litigation, serious accidents punishment act, corporate & M&A litigation, banking, securities and finance litigation and media litigation.

      Prior to joining Kim & Chang, Mr. Lee served in the Korean Navy as a militaryjudge for three years, and in the Judiciary for 16 years as a high court judge or a judge at the Seoul High Court and various District Courts. During his tenure as ajudge, he gained extensive experience in a wide range of civil, criminal and family cases. Furthermore, he served as a visiting professional at the International Criminal Court. During his time as a judge, Mr. Lee was selected as an outstanding judge by the Seoul and Chungbuk Bar Associations.
    • Wooju Lee, Attorney, Kim & Chang

      Wooju Lee is an attorney at Kim & Chang. Since joining the firm in 2014, Mr. Lee has advised many overseas and domestic clients, primarily in the areas ofantitrust and competition, corporate governance, foreign direct investment, and mergers & acquisitions. Mr. Lee also has extensive experience advising the firm's clients in the manufacturing, distribution and IT industries.

      Mr. Lee regularly advises clients on competition law issues arising from their daily operations, mergers & acquisitions transactions, and investigations by the Korea Fair Trade Commission into violations of competition law. Mr. Lee also has extensive experience in advising companies on board and shareholder meeting operations, as well as developing strategies to address activist shareholder campaigns.
