Committee's Mission Statement
- Comprehensive Advocacy: To advocate for the full consumer lifecycle—encompassing Nondurable Goods (e.g., Food & Beverages, Personal Care, Spirits, and Tobacco) and Durable Goods (e.g., Electronics and Apparel)—while integrating Beauty, Fashion, Cultural Content, and AI as central pillars of U.S.-Korea economic cooperation.
- Regulatory Intelligence: To provide members with timely updates on regulatory shifts within the Consumer Goods and Retail industries. Key focus areas include product liability, packaging, advertising and labeling, consumer protection, ESG initiatives, e-commerce, data privacy, intellectual property, supply chain management, customs, and tax issues.
- Stakeholder Engagement: To serve as a premier platform for engaging with key stakeholders on critical industry issues and facilitating the exchange of best practices among member companies.
