James Kim is Chairman and CEO of AMCHAM Korea. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Mirae Assets Global Investments and holds a role as an Independent Director of Hyundai Mobis, a publicly listed company. Mr. Kim is a Korean-American who is passionate about promoting the commercial interests between the United States and Korea.
Prior to AMCHAM, Mr. Kim served as Chairman and CEO of GM Korea. At GM Korea, Mr. Kim was responsible for the total operations encompassing 17,000 employees (sales, manufacturing, distribution and design). Mr. Kim also had oversight responsibilities with GM’s joint venture operations in Uzbekistan.
Mr. Kim joined GM Korea from Microsoft Korea, where he had served as Country Manager and CEO. His previous roles include CEO of Yahoo! Korea and Asia Regional Vice President of Overture (a wholly owned subsidiary of Yahoo).
Before his tenure at Yahoo, Mr. Kim's career was primarily based in the United States, where he served as Managing Partner at Palisades Advisors in New York. Preceding his time at Palisades, he held several notable positions, including CEO of Corcoran.com, CEO of Vivien International, and National Marketing Manager at AT&T.
Mr. Kim is frequently featured in leading Korean and international media as an authority on the relationship between Korea and the United States. Mr. Kim's contributions extend beyond his professional endeavors. He received a Presidential Commendation in the Cooperation for Tax Administration Category at the 58th Taxpayer's Day, recognized by the National Tax Service. Mr. Kim is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and an MBA from Harvard University.
As an avid tennis player, Mr. Kim serves as the official “Wilson Brand Ambassador.” Mr. Kim lives in Seoul, Korea with his spouse and has two grown children.
Simon Green is president of the Japan & Asia Pacific (JAPAC) region of Palo Alto Networks - the global cybersecurity leader on the S&P 500. Under Simon’s leadership the company has become the first ever independent cybersecurity company to become a $1 billion dollar business in JAPAC. In this role, Simon is responsible for driving business strategy and revenue growth, market momentum as well as growing a strong, diverse and effective team of 3,000+ staff.
Simon frequently provides industry perspective to government and cybersecurity bodies, as well as insight to advisory boards including Bausele and KKR.
Simon is an advocate of cyber talent development, community initiatives such as Cyber Safe Kids and I&D programs to promote equality. During his tenure the female and early in career participation rates have broken new records within JAPAC.
With over 25 years of experience as a technology industry decision-maker, Simon has held several leadership roles in high-profile digital businesses. He was previously COO of Interactive, a systems availability and data-center company, specializing in cloud computing, headquartered in Australia.
Simon has also fulfilled multiple roles during 14 years at NetApp, rising to become Senior Vice President and General Manager for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. In this role, Simon achieved double-digit business growth, and was responsible for
setting strategy, managing P&L, building strategic partnerships, developing emerging products, and growing sales, including driving channel strategy. In an earlier role as NetApp’s Vice President for Go-to-Market, Asia Pacific, Simon was responsible for the NetApp-IBM relationship, regional channel programs, and major account strategy.
Earlier in his career, Simon was National Sales Manager and Director for ProVision, which, at that time, was NetApp's Australian distributor. Simon also spent several years in business-development at Austereo, and worked for seven years in a chartered accountancy firm as a tax specialist.
Yun Chung joined UL on November 8, 2021, as the new Regional Managing Director for the company's operation in Korea. Prior to joining UL, he served as the Country Director for Public Sector at Dassault Systemes and Korea Country Executive for Government Affairs & Policy at GE's Global Growth Organization (GGO). Currently, he serves as a member of UL Solutions' Senior Leadership Team.
Mr. Chung has over 25 years of professional experience in both Korean government and global companies leading business strategy and government affairs in diverse industry sectors including aerospace, defense, energy, healthcare, transportation, and industrial software. Before entering the private sector in 2008, he had served as a Chief of Staff for Policy for a ranking member of the Republic of Korea National Assembly leading audit of government policies and budget programs as well as key legislation initiatives of the office.
In addition to his official role at UL Solutions, Yun serves on the Board of Governors and as Co-Chair of the Sustainability Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce Korea. As Managing Director of The Walt Disney Company Korea, Soyoun Kim leads strategy development and business execution, further strengthening the Company’s presence in Korea. Soyoun is a media and entertainment expert with more than 16 years of experience at Disney where she spearheaded the growth of various businesses and elevated the Company’s business expansion in Korea.
In her previous role as General Manager of Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), Soyoun led innovation in the rapidly changing media landscape and successfully launched Disney+ in November 2021. Under her leadership, Disney+ actively expanded its content slate, announcing over 20 Korean titles in 2022, including at least 12 Korean originals. This strategic direction laid a strong foundation for Disney+’s long-term commitment to Korean content.
As the former General Manager of Consumer Products, Soyoun led collaborations with local partners that resulted in the growth of the licensing business, expanding the Company’s IPs into a wide range of consumer products. She also orchestrated the development of locally relevant creatives and products, playing a pivotal role in providing consumers with the best branded experiences.
Prior to this, Soyoun served as Head of Media Distribution in Korea, where she successfully drove content digital transformation strategy and business growth. She also worked in Channel Distribution at The Walt Disney Company Korea.
Cheeyoung Lee has been serving as the General Manager of P&G Korea since June 2022. Lee joined P&G Korea in 2000 as brand manager of Marketing Department. Wonik Lee is the Country Executive for Korea. In this capacity, he leads the company’s’ corporate business focus on collaborative growth and serves as the executive representative for all Lockheed Martin programs, products and services across the country.
An experienced aerospace and defense executive over 20 years of industry experience, Wonik was with Dassault Systemes Korea leading public sector business and country strategy. Prior to his time at Dassault Systemes, Wonik spent a decade with Airbus based both in South Korea and
in France handling commercial affairs, international cooperation & offset, and strategy. Early on in his career, Wonik was with Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) and involved with the T-50 advanced trainer jet as part of the joint KAI-Lockheed Martin team. He has also served with the
US Army in Korea at Camp Castle as KATUSA and Squad Leader in Combat Engineer Battalion.

Dongwook (Dave) Oh is Country Manager, Pfizer Korea. He served the consecutive terms as the Chair of KRPIA* as well as a member of the BOG of AMCHAM** and was the Chair of KCMC***. As a result, he won a President’s Award at the ceremony for the 37th ‘Pharm Day’ in 2023, which credits to his contributions to the improvements in public health and Korean pharmaceutical industry.
He also served as Asia Country Cluster Lead of Vaccines BU (Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau and Pakistan) after joining Pfizer Korea as Specialty Care BU Head in Feb 2010.

took senior leadership positions in Janssen Pharmaceutical R&D and MedTech
Supply Chain before returning back to the Asia-Pacific region in 2022 to assume
his current role. During his time in the US, he led strategic initiatives that
drove R&D portfolio pipeline value, accelerated data sciences and major
transformation projects to reshape global footprint of end-to-end supply chain.

Mr. Si is the Chief Executive Officer of Inspire Entertainment Resort, a USD 1.6 billion integrated resort located near Terminal 2 of Incheon International Airport. The resort features 1,275 five-star hotel rooms, a 15,000-seat arena designed for world-class concerts, a convention center with the largest hotel ballroom in Korea, a yearround indoor water park, an upscale retail mall, a digital art museum, and a foreigner-only casino.
As the leader of the Inspire project, Mr. Si oversees all aspects of the resort’s development and operations. He joined the project in the summer of 2022 after spending over a decade in senior leadership roles across Las Vegas, Singapore, and Macau, primarily with Las Vegas Sands Corp., the world’s largest integrated resort company.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company in the United States. An American citizen, Mr. Si grew up in both China and the United States and is fluent in both English and Mandarin. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Hector Villarreal was appointed as President & Managing Director of GM Asia Pacific in January 2025, taking the lead in overseeing this newly formed region for General Motors. Villarreal has led the GM Korea business since August 2023.
In his current role in the region, Villarreal is responsible for all the operations of General Motors in Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia counties including manufacturing, sales, exports and aftersales. He is passionate about leveraging his expertise in management, Sales & Marketing, product planning, and manufacturing engineering to bring synergies and best practices across the Asia Pacific region.

Myung-Soon (MS) Yoo is Chief Executive Officer of Citibank Korea Inc. and Citi Country Officer for Korea since October 2020.
MS has been in the banking industry for more than 30 years and has extensive experience in working with institutional clients, including public sector clients. Prior to her current role, she was Head of Corporate Banking responsible for driving Institutional Client Group strategy by providing full spectrum of banking services leveraging Citi’s strong global platform and network.
MS started her career with Citi in Risk Management Group in 1987. She led the Multi National Company Subsidiary Group in 2002 and became Head of Global Transaction Services in 2009 at Citi Korea. She also worked at JP Morgan Chase Bank Seoul Branch as Branch Manager from 2014 till returning to Citi in 2015.
She holds MBA from Sogang University and a BA in English Education from Ewha Women’s University. She also completed the Advanced Management Program at Seoul National University. She is married and has 2 daughters.
Soojin Yu has served as Country Director for Korea at Hawaiian Airlines since January 2016, overseeing the airline’s commercial operations in South Korea. In April 2025, her role expanded following her appointment as Regional Director for Asia at Alaska Air Group, where she now leads market strategies across the broader Asia region?excluding Japan?for both Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines.
With over 30 years of cross-industry experience spanning aviation, aerospace, automotive, and broadcasting, Soojin brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to her role. Prior to joining Hawaiian Airlines, she was China Business Manager for the Asia Pacific region at Renault Samsung Motors, where she led procurement projects for new vehicle development and spearheaded innovative business platform initiatives.
Earlier in her career, she served as Marketing and Communications Manager at Air France KLM, and worked as an interpreter for pilots and mechanics at Samsung Aerospace and Eurocopter.
