?"The Patent-Linkage System in Korea"

Dear AMCHAM Members,
As you are aware, the patent linkage system is scheduled to go into full implementation as of March 15, 2015.
As this is an important change affecting the pharmaceutical industry, the co-chairs of the Pharmaceutical Committee and the IPR Committee have decided to prepare a joint meeting, inviting Dr. Yongik Jeong, Director of the Drug Approval and Patent Management Division, Pharmaceutical Safety Bureau, at the Ministry of Food & Drug Safety (MFDS) to address the members of the AMCHAM. In addition, Ms. K.N. Park, an attorney from Lee & Ko, and Dr. K.A. Yoon, a patent attorney at Yulchon, will provide additional comments. Please feel free to submit questions in advance to the AMCHAM so that we can provide them to Director Jeong prior to the luncheon meeting.
