	ABOUT THE SPEAKER

		Kimberly R. Furnish She arrived in Seoul as the Chief of American Citizen Services in July 2017. She is a career Foreign Service Officer and most recently served as the Consular Chief in Melbourne, Australia. Kim earned a Bachelor’s degree from Tulane University in her home town of New Orleans, Louisiana. Her prior tours also include Curacao, Seoul, Bogota, and the Bureau of Consular Affairs in Washington D.C. She is joined in Seoul by her husband Bill and their three children, the whole family enjoys going out for Korean food as much as possible.
