ABOUT THE SPEAKER | ||||||||
KANG Young-chul Dr. KANG Young-chul is heading the Regulatory Reform Office at the Office for Government Policy Coordination since July 2014. He started his career as a journalist at the Maeil Business Newspaper. He led key departments such as Economic Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Knowledge Desk. After working as an Advisor in the Education and Manpower Resources Policy Committee for the President of Korea, he moved to Pulmuone as Vice President. He oversaw Pulmuone Food's US operations. He then became the Head of Strategic Management Institute of Pulmuone. At Pulmuone, he was central in leading the fast growth of the US operations. At Maeil Business Newspaper, he was one of the key figures in founding the World Knowledge Forum. Dr. KANG graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Economics, and obtained his Ph.D at Pittsburgh University in Business Management. |
