?Dear AMCHAM Members, 

The Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER), affiliated with the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, has the primary mission of developing and converging a diverse array of energy technologies to support Korea’s sustainable energy future. To meet the challenges of an ever-increasing demand for more and more energy, limited energy resources, climate change and rising energy prices, KIER’s research organization is focused in the areas of renewable energy, carbon capture, clean coal, fuel cells and energy efficiency. And, based on their research, KIER’s role is to help establish Korea’s national policies concerning energy technology.
