"Legislation of Korea REACH Presidential/Ministerial Decrees and Perspectives from MOE” 

Dear AMCHAM Members,

I am pleased to invite you to join in AMCHAM Chemical Committee meeting with the topic of “Legislation of Korea REACH Presidential/Ministerial Decrees and Perspectives from MOE”. After the compromised Korea REACH reflecting Ministry of Environment (MOE) and a National Assemblywoman’s proposals was finalized with the passage of the National Assembly in last year, the proposal of Presidential decree and Ministerial decree were prepared based on the discussion at K-REACH Forums consisting of representatives from governments, industries, professionals, and NGOs. Now, the enforcement regulations are being finalized through input gathering from stakeholders. This meeting was organized to hear MOE’s perspectives on hot topics in the decrees and to present industry’s potential concerns or opinions. Please do not miss the great chance that we can hear perspectives directly from the government official in charge through presentation and subsequent Q&A session.
