The AMCHAM Legal Affairs Committee co-chairs are pleased to invite you to what promises to be an interesting and insightful lunch presentation. Our speakers will explore recent developments in international arbitration and cross-border litigation from the perspective of non-US companies. The topics covered will address mechanisms to best position dispute resolution at the stage of formation of the agreement, and the advantages and disadvantages of various fora in connection with dispute resolution. Once arbitration begins, the discussion will cover recent developments in the scope of discovery and practice tips related to the management of arbitration claims. Lastly, the panelists will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the US litigation mechanism, and recent developments in the US litigation mechanism as compared to arbitration.
