Message from co-chairs

Dear AMCHAM Members,

As you may know, a new workplace harassment law will take effect on July 16, 2019. Prior to that time, companies are required to update their Rules of Employment as well as be prepared for investigating and taking appropriate action when any harassment claims are made by employees. Violations can result in civil, criminal and administrative penalties and, also, reputation harm.

In this presentation, our presenters will review in detail compliance requirements in the new law and the wording that should be included as well as the process to update your company’s Rules of Employment. Sample wording in English and Korean will be provided to all participants. Also, our presenters will provide important “Do’s & Don’ts” when companies investigate and take measures regarding workplace harassment.

Make sure that your company is prepared for this new law before July 16th!

We look forward to seeing you there.
