“2015 Import Car Market, Forecast and Impact on the Overall Korean Economy”?

Dear AMCHAM Members,

The Automobile Industry in Korea is a leading indicator for the overall health of the Korean Economy. In the last 3 years imported vehicles have increased their market share to nearly 20% of total industry, with continued growth forecasted for the next few years. The Automotive Committee is pleased to have Mr. Daesung Yoon speak to AMCHAM members about this trend and what it means for the Korean economy for the rest of this year and into the future. His years of experience in the Korean import automobile industry give him a unique perspective on the Korean industry and economy.
