"Washington’s View on North Korea and TPP"


Dear AMCHAM Members,

Government & International Affairs Committee is pleased to inform you that we will be holding our next committee meeting on May 22. Although it is a short-noticed meeting, we would like to take the opportunity of hearing from two leading experts in the world, visiting from Washington. Two senior fellows from the world renowned thinktank, Peterson Institute for International Economics, will be visiting Seoul next week. Marcus Noland and Jeffrey Schott, leading American experts on North Korea and US trade policy, respectively, have agreed to be our speakers. Marc will give us his assessment on the latest development in the North Korea and Jeff will give us his assessment on the progress of TPP (Trans Pacific Partnership) trade negotiation and their implications for South Korea. We hope you do not miss this great opportunity of exchanging intellectual discussion on issues that affect South Korea and our business. of course.
