Dear AMCHAM Members,

We hope you are enjoying the crisp fall weather.

With great success in our corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts last year to create AMCHAM Forest at the World Cup Park, AMCHAM Korea is pleased to invite member companies to join the 2nd AMCHAM Service Day on Friday, October 24, 2014. This time we are planning to help clean the stream by picking up trash and throwing mixed EM (Effective Microorganism) clay balls into the water in Yangjaecheon Stream, which is located in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu. This activity is supported by Gangnam-gu.

By doing this, we would like to contribute to enhance the community environment with cleaner water. EM which is mixed into the clay is acknowledged as a catalyst to improve the quality of water, especially when mixed with a proper amount of fine clay. Similar activities have been implemented by other organizations in the past and it has been proven to have contributed much in improving the overall quality of water. So it will be a meaningful activity in which AMCHAM members can easily participate. Let’s walk along and help clean the stream together!

We encourage companies to form their own company teams and participate as a group. Individual members are also welcome to join the AMCHAM team.

HOW TO JOIN: 1) Decide on the number of employees who wish to participate.
2) Fill out the attached form and send it back to us by Friday, October 10. We will then contact and provide you with more detailed information.
