"The Role of Women in Winning PyeongChang 2018"

AMCHAM Professional Women’s Committee would like to invite members to the PWC’s first event in year of blue horse 2014.

Theresa Rah(나승연) will speak about her role in the successful bid to host the 2018 Winter Games in PyeongChang, and she will also highlight the role of women in the campaign. In addition to Yuna Kim, who served as the face of the bid, several women played prominent roles outside of the media spotlight. Ms. Rah will talk about these women and detail how their individual and collective strengths were credited with enhancing the bid’s international appeal and communication efforts.

Ms. Rah currently serves as the host of Arirang TV’s ‘Heart to Heart’ interview show, which features a range of local and international personalities. In addition to this role, Ms. Rah is the Co-CEO of Oratio, an English communication consulting firm. In this position, Ms. Rah provides speech training and writing for a range of clients some of which include Kia Motors and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
