Anthony Chang is a senior foreign attorney in the Labor and Employment Practice Group at Shin & Kim. He has a wide range of experience in HR matters both as in-house and as outside counsel. Anthony was the head of the Korea law department for a multi-national corporation (Fortune 100) as well as a member of the senior management team for the Korean affiliate. His work experience both in-house, with a strong business perspective, and with law firms in Korea and the U.S. helps bridge the gap in helping to find practical solutions to complex and uncertain HR and corporate issues. He is admitted in New York, Massachusetts and Missouri and has over 20 years of experience in Korea, the U.S. and Hong Kong.
Mr. Doo-Sik Kim is a senior counsel of Shin & Kim, and is qualified in Korea and New York. Mr. Kim’s main areas of practice include cross-border investments, general corporate transactions, mergers & acquisitions, construction and other projects, WTO/GATT & international trade law, and international litigation & arbitration. Mr. Kim has conducted a number of international and domestic arbitrations as advocate and as arbitrator. Mr. Kim has also participated in many governmental negotiations and international trade disputes as a government lawyer or, sometimes, as a member of the Korean government delegation. He received the National Service Medal from the government of the Republic of Korea in 2007. Mr. Kim has taught international economic law as an adjunct professor at Dong-Kuk University, Graduate School of International Information and at Seoul National University Law School. He has also written extensively on topics related to securities and M&A law, international trade law and corporate law.
