1) Committee's Mission Statement

The Food & Agricultural Products Committee serves U.S. agriculture companies' interests in Korea. The Committee works to promote the acceptance of U.S. food and agricultural products in the Korean community and to position the United States as a reliable partner of Korea and a trustworthy provider of safe and wholesome food and agricultural products. The Committee provides a forum to identify, discuss, and assist in the resolution of issues facing U.S. companies involved in the food and agricultural products industries. The Committee makes its positions known to U.S. policy-makers and seeks to engage in activities which promote information-sharing and opinion-shaping opportunities with officials from Korean regulatory and policy-making organizations. The Committee strives to maintain a balanced membership representing all segments of the food and agricultural product industries.

Regular meetings on agriculture related topics featuring guest speakers from industry and government.
