About the Speaker

Joseph J. H. Chung, Executive Director, Macoll Consulting Group

Joseph Chung is an Executive Director at Macoll Consulting Group, responsible for global business lead.

He has garnered his experiences in the field of public affairs services for both private and public sectors for almost two decades.

For private sectors, he has been consulting a number of the headquarters of associations of wide sectoral range, as well as regional offices for global companies helped navigate policy landscape of Korea in critical times. Sectors of his specialty includes healthcare, defense, ICT, F&B, energy for all of which he provided tailored strategies and delivered desired outcome as they are faced with far more challenging regulatory barriers.

South Korea is known for fast-paced shifts in its policies and regulations by waves of political momentums including recent 20th Presidential Election. With this in mind, he will be shedding lights on anticipated non-market impact that will surely be relevant to market environment.

Previously he also worked with Seoul Metropolitan Government, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Northrop Grumman, Dow Corning, the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, and Kia Motors Group.

Prior to joining Macoll, he worked as the senior manager at a public relations consultancy and served in the army as Interpretation Officer for the Commanding General of the First ROK Army.
