About the Speaker

Brad Kim, Managing Director at Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners
Topic : Renewable energy challenges and opportunities from renewable energy corporation

Brad Kim leads Stonepeak’s activities in Korea. He has over 20 years experience in infrastructure and energy investments and financing, and has worked in Australia, Asia and the Middle East on over $20b of projects. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Brad was the head of Macquarie Capital in Korea. Brad holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales in Australia.

Sean S. Chung, President & Lead Country Manager at ExxonMobil Korea
Topic : Carbon neutral challenges and opportunities from oil and gas corporation

Sean S. Chung is currently located in Seoul and appointed as the lead country manager for ExxonMobil’s business in Korea which includes LNG, lubricants and chemicals business. Before his current appointment, he has held leadership and management positions in USA, Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam. Sean started his career at Mobil Corporation headquarters in USA and has over 25 years’ experience in the energy industry mainly in business development, commercial design and negotiations for natural gas and power project development. His previous position was Vice President of ExxonMobil E&P Vietnam located in Hanoi, responsible for commercial activities requiring extensive engagements with various Vietnam government ministries and entities.

Ross Gregory, Managing Director at Altor Capital
Topic : Critical mineral supply issues from battery sector

Ross leads Altor Capital’s Asian business, with a focus on Korea. Altor provides specialist advisory services to participants in critical and battery minerals and rare earths supply chains; from upstream mining to downstream processing. Ross is a commercial lawyer with broad experience in banking and corporate transactions. Ross was formerly Executive Director at Macquarie Group and CEO of Macquarie Securities Korea. Ross is fluent in Korean with strong connectivity to Korean EV / cell / cathode / anode OEMs. Ross has a Bachelor of Science and Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne and an MBA from Melbourne Business School.
