About the Speaker

H.E. Choo Kyungho, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance

Mr. Choo Kyungho was appointed as the 6th Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance. Prior to serving as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, he was a Chief Deputy Floor Leader of the People Power Party. He also served as the Minister of the Office for Government Policy Coordination from 2014 to 2016 and the 1st Vice Minister of Strategy and Finance from 2013 to 2014. Mr. Choo received a B.A. in Business Administration from Korea University. He also received an M.A. in Economics from the University of Oregon.
