Start the day with a good hearty breakfast
and a meeting of minds! Many people have taken our
advice: US Senators and Congressmen, trade missions, and
successful multinational companies based in Korea and
abroad. AMCHAM Korea can arrange a breakfast briefing,
an informal session which provides information on what
it's like doing business in Korea, from both American
and Korean perspectives.

At your request, the Chamber will
organize a group of prominent AMCHAM business leaders in Korea,
representing a broad spectrum of industries, to offer their
insights on current issues and expert advice for those new to
the Korean market.
The Chamber makes all the arrangements: hotel function room,
breakfast, panelists, and moderator. The person or company requesting
the briefing must pay a small setup fee in Korean won, US dollars,
or AMEX card. For AMCHAM members, the fee is W200,000. For those
requesting the briefing from abroad, the fee is US$300.
Additionally, you will receive the American Business and Korean Miracle book, our invaluable book published in 2003 to mark the 50th Anniversary of AMCHAM Korea.
The briefing setup fee should to be paid the AMCHAM office prior
to the meeting. In addition, the person or company requesting
the briefing pays the full cost of breakfast to the hotel for
all participants immediately following the meeting.

Briefing breakfast requests should
be submitted at least 2 weeks before the actual date to ensure
that an appropriate panel can be assembled.
A fee will be charged for setting up the briefing breakfast.
This fee includes "American Business and Korean Miracle" book, our invaluable
book published in 2003 to mark the 50th Anniversary of AMCHAM Korea. This fee
should be paid before the briefing, unless arranged differently,
at the AMCHAM office.
The person requesting the briefing pays the full cost of breakfast
for all participants directly to the hotel after the briefing
unless other arrangements are made.
Briefings are usually hosted by the person requesting the briefing
and are usually held over breakfast from 8:00 - 9:00 AM.
AMCHAM will make all necessary arrangements for the briefing,
including inviting AMCHAM members to brief as well as arranging
the reservation of the hotel function room for the briefing.
The person requesting the briefing should provide AMCHAM with
as much information as possible, such as topics of interest,
biography of company people attending, company background, et
cetera.
AMCHAM may mention your briefing breakfast in our monthly newsletter
unless you indicate otherwise, in which case the proceedings
will be kept confidential.
